Before your first visit, please bring your insurance card, a detailed list of all current medications and allergies, and any questions you may have for Dr. Boylen or our team. This helps us provide the most accurate and personalized care.

How do patients handle payments and insurance questions?
Payments are handled by our reception and billing team. We accept all major insurances including WV Medicaid, Aetna Better Health, Wellpoint, The Health Plan, Highmark Health Options, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, UMR, Tricare, Medicare, and all supplement/advantage plans, plus many more. Copays and coinsurances are due at the time of service. Self-pay patients are happily accepted with competitive rates for visits. Any outstanding balance should be satisfied at your visit or shortly thereafter.

What should patients expect when they come in for an appointment?
When you visit NP Care, expect healthcare with a smile. We will conduct a thorough review of your medical history, place orders including labs to address any concerns, provide medication refills, and arrange testing as needed to ensure your well-being.

We accept all major insurances. We do prescribe medications. We provide onsite injections and offer rapid testing in-house for strep, flu, COVID, mono, and more. Additionally, we provide lab services on-site for your convenience.
